Narcissus Reminds
(from the NaPoWriMo prompt: write a poem in which one or more flowers take on specific meanings.)

Before the daisy or rudbeckia
announce the solstice
or the roses all gather
to fĂȘte the first hot, dry day,
Narcissus will peak out
from his green sleeves
and remind me that even
I may bloom again.
