Yesterday, CJ reminded me of a mantra I wrote for a story about young people creating their own religion. He was actually using it to calm himself, which means I may have missed my calling after all.
"I am a rock and
he is a wave.
He will crash into me
and cover me over
But he will recede
and I will remain."
Glad to have been reminded of this before my department meeting this week.
